This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on FoodConsulting.Ai, operated by Solbuggy Connect Private Limited. We are committed to providing high-quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By purchasing credits or services on our Platform, you agree to this Refund Policy.

2. General Refund Policy

All credit purchases are generally non-refundable once the transaction is completed, except in specific circumstances outlined in this policy.

We understand that situations may arise where a refund is warranted. This policy details the conditions under which refunds may be granted for different types of services.

3. Credit Purchase Refunds

3.1 Unused Credits

Eligibility: Refunds for unused credits may be requested within 7 daysof purchase under the following conditions:

  • No credits from the purchased package have been used
  • No services have been accessed using the purchased credits
  • The request is made within 7 days of purchase
  • Valid reason provided for the refund request

Refund Amount: 100% of the purchase amount minus payment gateway charges (approximately 2-3%)

Processing Time: 7-10 business days from approval

3.2 Partially Used Credits

If you have used some credits from your purchased package:

Partially used credit packages are not eligible for refunds.Once you use any credits from a package, the entire package is considered consumed.

3.3 Bonus Credits

Bonus credits provided with promotional offers or discounted packages are non-refundable and will be forfeited if a refund is processed.

4. AI Chat Session Refunds

4.1 Service Quality Issues

Credits may be refunded if:

  • The AI service experiences technical errors preventing proper functioning
  • Responses are completely irrelevant or nonsensical (not subjective quality concerns)
  • The issue is reported within 24 hours of the session

Important: Dissatisfaction with AI advice or recommendations does not qualify for a refund. AI-generated content is advisory in nature and should be verified independently.

4.2 Duplicate Charges

If credits are accidentally deducted multiple times for the same question due to a technical glitch, the duplicate credits will be refunded immediately upon verification.

5. Market Research Report Refunds

5.1 Before Report Generation

If you have initiated a report request but the report has not been generated yet:

  • Full Refund: Available if request is cancelled within 1 hour of initiating
  • After 1 hour: No refund if generation has started

5.2 After Report Delivery

Once a market research report has been generated and delivered:

Credits may be refunded if:

  • The report is completely blank or corrupted
  • The report does not match the requested specifications (wrong product/market)
  • Major sections of the report are missing or incomplete
  • Technical errors prevented proper PDF generation

NOT eligible for refund:

  • Subjective dissatisfaction with report content or insights
  • Data or projections that don't align with your expectations
  • Minor formatting or typographical issues
  • Market data that has changed since report generation

5.3 Refund Timeline

Report quality issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for review.

6. Expert Video Consultation Refunds

6.1 Cancellation by User

Cancellation Timeframes:

  • 24+ hours before: 100% credit refund
  • 12-24 hours before: 50% credit refund
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund (credits forfeited)
  • No-show: No refund

6.2 Cancellation by Expert

If an expert cancels a scheduled consultation:

  • Full credit refund to your account immediately
  • Option to reschedule with the same or different expert at no additional cost
  • Priority booking for your next consultation

6.3 Technical Issues

If technical issues prevent the consultation from taking place:

  • Platform issue: Full credit refund or free rescheduling
  • User's connectivity issue: No refund (consultation marked as completed)
  • Expert's connectivity issue: Full credit refund or rescheduling

6.4 Quality Concerns

Partial or full credit refunds may be issued if:

  • Expert was significantly late without prior notice
  • Consultation ended prematurely due to expert's fault
  • Expert was unprofessional or violated our code of conduct
  • Expert did not have relevant expertise as advertised

Quality concerns must be reported within 24 hours of the consultation. We will review the video recording (if available) and expert notes before processing refunds.

7. Project Consultation Service Refunds

Project consultation services are quoted and billed at actuals with custom agreements:

  • Refund terms are defined in the project-specific agreement
  • Milestone-based payments may have different refund terms for each milestone
  • Generally, work completed is not refundable, but unused advance payments may be refunded
  • Cancellation fees may apply based on project stage and work completed

8. How to Request a Refund

8.1 Submission Process

To request a refund:

  2. Include your account email and transaction/order ID
  3. Clearly describe the reason for your refund request
  4. Provide any supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, etc.)
  5. Specify your preferred refund method (original payment method or account credits)

8.2 Review Timeline

  • Initial Response: Within 24-48 hours
  • Review & Decision: 3-5 business days
  • Refund Processing: 7-10 business days after approval

8.3 Required Information

Please provide:

  • Transaction ID/Order ID
  • Date of purchase
  • Service type (AI chat, report, consultation)
  • Detailed reason for refund request
  • Any evidence supporting your claim

9. Refund Methods

9.1 Original Payment Method

Refunds are typically processed back to your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days
  • Net Banking: 5-7 business days
  • UPI: 3-5 business days
  • Wallet: 3-5 business days

Note: Processing time may vary based on your bank or payment provider.

9.2 Account Credits

Alternatively, you may choose to receive the refund as account credits, which are:

  • Instantly credited to your account
  • Can be used for any service on the Platform
  • Do not expire

10. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following situations:

  • Change of mind after using credits or services
  • Dissatisfaction with AI recommendations or market projections
  • Subjective quality concerns without objective technical issues
  • Failure to cancel consultation with sufficient notice
  • User's technical issues preventing service access
  • Violation of our Terms and Conditions resulting in account suspension
  • Promotional or discounted credit packages (unless unused within 7 days)
  • Services purchased more than 30 days ago (except ongoing projects)
  • Credits transferred or gifted to another user

11. Payment Gateway Charges

All refunds are subject to deduction of payment gateway charges (approximately 2-3% of transaction amount) as these charges are non-recoverable from our payment partners. The refund amount will reflect this deduction.

12. Disputed Transactions and Chargebacks

12.1 Friendly Resolution: We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably.

12.2 Chargeback Consequences: If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • Your account may be suspended pending investigation
  • All unused credits will be frozen
  • Future purchases may require additional verification

12.3 Fraudulent Chargebacks: Chargebacks filed after services have been consumed may result in permanent account termination and legal action.
